Harvest Delays, what happens when your single-origin coffee isn’t ready?

Some of our rare micro-lot coffees come from small farms, so harvests can run late or sell out. Here’s what happens when that affects your subscription.

If your coffee’s delayed or unavailable

You can choose how we handle it:

  1. Auto-substitute – we send the closest match in flavour and roast.

  2. Hold shipment – we wait up to 14 days for the original lot.

  3. Credit & notify – we skip the shipment and credit your account.

You’ll always get an email before we make any change.

How we choose substitutes

We match by:

  1. Roast level

  2. Tasting notes

  3. Body & acidity

  4. Processing method

We never downgrade quality or price tier.

Didn’t like your substitute?

Request a return or credit in your account within 7 days — we’ll sort it quickly.

Tip

If you love experimenting, pick Auto-substitute.

If you’re loyal to one origin, choose Hold shipment or Credit & notify.
